Economic Research & Policy Division
The Division undertakes macroeconomic research, provides policy advice, and formulates strategies aimed at ensuring price and financial stability while promoting sustainable economic growth.
Domestic Statistics & Analysis Department
Responsible for compiling, collecting, analysing and disseminating domestic statistics covering key macroeconomic indicators including national accounts, inflation, monetary and financial statistics.
The Department also undertakes research with emphasis on the real, monetary and financial sectors of the economy.
International Economics Department
Responsible for compiling, analysing and forecasting external sector statistics including Balance of Payments and International Investment Position data.
This includes foreign reserves, merchandise trade, exchange rate dynamics, international commodity prices and external debt.
The Department monitors regional and global developments, identifies risks and opportunities, and supports the Bank’s regional and international engagements.
Policy Research, Modelling & Publications Department
Undertakes analytical and empirical macroeconomic research to support policy formulation and advice.
Oversees production of the Bank’s publications and dissemination of economic information to stakeholders.
Develops and manages macroeconomic forecasting models to provide reliable projections for policy-makers in both public and private sectors.
