Mission
The Exchange Control Division’s mission is to implement and administer Exchange Control regulations under powers conferred to the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe by the President under Section 2 of the Exchange Control Act.
Core Objectives
Implement exchange control policies and oversee administration of Exchange Control regulations.
License and ensure compliance by Authorised Dealers, Money Transfer Agencies and Bureaux De Change.
Collect foreign trade data, perform analytics, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
Combat illicit financial flows and ensure value realization for national exports.
Safeguard the Balance of Payments by allocating foreign exchange to productive and critical sectors.
